What did you do last Sunday? Well I had breakfast with Brian Massey, The Conversion Scientist.
There’s a shortage of good and easy-to-read books on conversion stuff, so I was excited when he released his brand new book, Your Customer Creation Equation.
(Actually the book is so new that it’s only being launched 2 days from now at Content Marketing World.)
I loved his approach to writing this book – he first mapped out reader personas (people he was writing for), and only then proceeded to create the content. He had sent me an early draft before, but yesterday was the first time I actually held the real book in my hands.
I just happened to have a video camera on me, so I recorded a short video where I ask Brian a couple of questions about the book:
A few things about the book:
- It really is an excellent book. I’ve never come across a conversion book that manages to explain important concepts so simply. Simple = good design.
- If you’re a conversion pro, the book is NOT for you. It’s for marketers and business owners who want to build their know-how on boosting conversions, but who are somewhat new to this. In Brian’s words, it’s “foundational”.
- While I prefer the paper version, it is available for Kindle too.
